Take part in the EcoStyle without Borders competition". Make an eco-friendly outfit with recycled materials
The Mayor of the City of Ostrołęka, Paweł Niewiadomski, invites you to take part in the competition entitled "EcoStyle without Borders" for an ecological outfit made of recycled materials as part of the Polish-Swiss Urban Development Program.
The competition is open and is addressed to residents of the City of Ostrołęka and the Rzekuń Commune aged 13 and over. Minors may participate with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
The task of the participants is to prepare an ecological outfit made of the following materials:
- recycled,
- natural or biodegradable,
- intended for reuse.
The competition will run from April 7, 2026 to April 30, 2026. The condition for participation is to register for participation by April 15, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. and attach the application form with all consents (to be downloaded from the attachment). The form to be filled in in paper form is available at the Ostrołęka Town Hall at 1 gen. J. Bema Square and 45 T. Kościuszki Street. Participation in the Competition consists in making an ecological costume and submitting a photo. The outfit must be presented on the person. The application should be made by sending a photograph of the costume, the application form with the signed consent of the parent/legal guardian in the case of a participant under 18 years of age, by e-mail to the e-mail address: ekoostroleka@um.ostroleka.pl or by submitting it to the filing office of the Ostrołęka City Hall at 1 gen. J. Bema Square and 45 T. Kościuszki Street.
The works will be evaluated:
- on the https://mieszkamwostrolece.pl/szwajcar_ekologia page
- during the inaugural event of the project "Ostrołęka – young people in the center" implemented as part of the Polish-Swiss Urban Development Program, on April 17, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Arkadiusz Gołaś Sports and Entertainment Hall at R. Traugutta Street in Ostrołęka.
The results of the Competition will be announced on the City's website by April 30, 2026.
The competition is organized as part of the Polish-Swiss Urban Development Program and is co-financed by the Swiss Funds supporting the reduction of economic and social differences in the European Union and the state budget.
